Terms of use

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must supervise your use.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Family membership

iHelper organises data into families. The Main Member creates the family, invites others, and controls roles and tab visibility.

Content you add to a family may be visible to other members according to those settings. Do not share join codes publicly or with people outside your household unless you intend them to access your family data.

The Main Member may remove members. Members may leave a family at any time. Removed or departing members lose future access; copies on other devices or exports may remain.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse iHelper. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Uploading unlawful, harassing, or infringing content.
• Attempting to access another family's data without authorisation.
• Reverse engineering, scraping, or overloading our services.
• Using the app to send spam or malware.
• Circumventing subscription or usage limits.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the app for you and your family members.

You represent that you have the rights to upload content and that it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.

AI features

Optional AI features may generate suggestions for tasks, events, recipes, shopping items, and similar actions. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete.

You are responsible for reviewing AI suggestions before accepting them. Do not rely on AI for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

Platform AI requires an active AI Plus subscription or a valid API key provided by the Main Member. Usage may be subject to fair-use limits.

Subscriptions & billing

AI Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Prices, free trials, and renewal terms are shown in the purchase sheet and in App Store Connect.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies. We do not store your full payment card details.

If a subscription lapses, platform AI access ends unless the family uses a valid bring-your-own API key. Core non-AI features remain available.

Third-party services

iHelper integrates with sign-in providers, cloud infrastructure, weather and schedule APIs, Open Food Facts, and AI providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

iHelper is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Calendar sync, notifications, health imports, and AI responses may be delayed or unavailable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of iHelper.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for AI Plus in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Termination

You may stop using iHelper at any time by signing out or deleting your account data as described in the privacy policy.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required to comply with law. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and liability limits) will survive.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the in-app text and "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
